ALL GRADES-

1. National Talent Search Examination (NTSE)

NTSE is a National-level exam conducted by NCERT to identify talented students and award them scholarships to pursue their further studies. Scholarships are available for students in terms of stipend each month for Grade 11 & 12; Undergraduate & Postgraduate studies and PhD. This is one of the most reputed examinations in India.

 

2. National Level Science Talent Search Exam (NLSTSE)

In NLSTSE, the emphasis for assessment of scholastic skills is mainly on Mathematics and Sciences. The NSTSE Topper is awarded upto Rs. 2,00,000 cash prize. The student who achieves the 1st rank and highest percentage of marks among all the classes is declared as NSTSE Topper. All the top rankers and achievers are awarded medals, certificates and lucrative prizes.

 

3. Indian National Olympiad (INO)

A target number of students are invited to the Orientation Cum Selection Camp of each subject. National Standard Examinations and Asian Physics Olympiad are organized for students to enable students to judge their national ranking. The students in each subject are assigned a rank according to his/her performance. This helps students in catering to the appropriate knowledge of specific subjects as physics along with an opportunity to participate in an educational camp.

 

4. Science Olympiad Foundation

Science Olympiad Foundation recognizes prodigies in various subject domains as Science, English, etc. Cash awards and gift prizes are given to top rankers. Along with this, students also get an opportunity to win scholarships for their academic achievements.

 

5. GeoGenius

The Geo Genius National Geography Olympiad is a three-level competition. The International Geography Olympiad (iGeo) has recognized Geo Genius India as India’s National Geography Competition. This enables the winners to represent India internationally. Awards and cash prizes are provided to each winner.

 

6. Kishore Vigyan Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research careers in science. Students receive fellowship once they pursue their basic science degrees in under graduation.

 

7. Silverzone Olympiads

There are numerous olympiads for instance related to science, math, informatics, hindi, social studies etc. Each olympiad has a specific rank and award for the school students and institutions.

 

8. National Interactive Maths Olympiad (NIMO)

NIMO (National Interactive Math Olympiad) provides a platform where students can participate and utilize their knowledge and skills to solve the problems that are based on the application of the concepts learned. Math Olympiad examination inculcates consistent thinking, basic reasoning, inventive reasoning, dynamic or spatial reasoning, critical thinking capacity, and surprisingly viable relational abilities.

 

9. National Biotechnology Olympiad (NBO)

This olympiad is as much about creating awareness about Biotechnology by bringing in an element of challenge and competition as about inspiring the younger generation to enhance their knowledge about Biotechnology issues and to test their aptitude for taking up a career in Biotechnology in future. Prizes worth 50 lakhs are awarded to students, teachers and principals.

 

10. Asset (Assessment of Scholastic Skills Through Educational Testing)

The exam gets a chance for academically gifted students to participate and win medals. The students get a chance to be part of the network of gifted students and participate in various national and international opportunities.

 

11. The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)

The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is the World Championship Mathematics Competition for High School students and is held annually in a different country. The first IMO was held in 1959 in Romania, with 7 countries participating. It has gradually expanded to over 100 countries from 5 continents. The IMO Board ensures that the competition takes place each year and that each host country observes the regulations and traditions of the IMO. The students are rewarded based on their performance in the olympiad.

 

12. International Assessment for Indian Schools (IAIS)

International Assessments for Indian Schools (IAIS) is a leading international student assessment service that provides an objective, in-depth, external assessment of student skills in key learning areas. IAIS is a diagnostic assessment that brings to light the strengths and weaknesses of a student in the four core subject areas of English, Science, Mathematics and Computer Skills. This diagnostic assessment is benchmarked against global standards of evaluation. The top-performing students in IAIS, in each subject and in each class across the region are awarded a University of New South Wales Gold medal.

 

13. Indian Talent Olympiads (ITO)

Olympiad Exams organized by Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO) are scholarship exams. Some of the subjects in which students can participate are International Science Olympiad (ISO), International Maths Olympiad (IMO), English International Olympiad (EIO), General Knowledge International Olympiad (GKIO), International Computer Olympiad (ICO), International Drawing Olympiad (IDO), National Essay Olympiad (NESO), and National Social Studies Olympiad (NSSO). Students can participate in any or all of these subjects as per their choice.

 

14. Unified Council Olympiads

There are various olympiads organized for students such as National Level Science Talent Search Examination, International Mathematics Olympiad, International English Olympiad, and Unified Cyber Olympiad. It is a very prestigious olympiad with exciting rewards for the winners.

 

15. Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO)

The olympiad is based on global rankings and participation of students from Southeast Asian countries. The students are given various awards and recognition based on their performance in the olympiad.

 

16. National Genius Search Examination (NGSE)

National Genius Search Examination (NGSE) is a scientifically devised assessment tool to locate genius among children. It is an innovative approach for accelerated learning, developed after more than 17 years of rigorous research and adaptability tests. The NGSE leads to the prestigious National Genius Awards.

 

17. IRIS National Fair

Research-based projects or novel engineering design qualify to participate at the IRIS National Fair. Hence, the student’s project must be original in content and should be substantiated with data collected from experimentation, if appropriate. Engineering projects should have novelty improvements over the existing solutions.

 

18. Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM)

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is an initiative of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and NCERT, an institution under the Ministry of Education. VVM is a national program for popularizing science among school students of standard VI to XI, conceptualised to identify the bright minds with a scientific aptitude among the student community. The top two students from each class i.e. total of 12 students from each state will be invited to a two-day National Camp. National Camp (NC) will consist of Presentations, Activities to test Scientific Understanding, Innovation, Creativity, Out-of-Box Thinking and Assessment of Leadership Quality.

 

18. Green Olympiad

GREEN Olympiad is a premier MCQ based examination on the environment and sustainable development and draws its linkage with the UN Decade of ESD and Global Action Programme (GAP).

 

19. Singapore & Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO)

SASMO is one of the largest math contests in Asia. It has expanded from 155 local participants in 2006 to more than 20,000 participants from 19 countries in SASMO 2016. The SASMO Team with the support of the Advisory Council spend countless hours carefully developing contest papers that will touch on both school and Olympiad maths. This combined effort allows participants to do better compared to pure-Olympiad papers, since they are familiar with some questions and are able to put on their thinking caps for others, bringing out the inner mathematician in them.

 

20. World Wisdom Challenge by WWF

WWF in collaboration with CBSE organizes a global challenge for all the young minds. Top 20 National Level Winners in India (2020) got a chance to interact with WWF India’s Education brand ambassador, The Chess Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand. Through the quiz, they explore how to go Net Zero, Revive the Oceans, Eliminate Waste and Rewild the World.
